Battery life.
Your Eagle can record up to 9 hours of continuous footage. When the battery is low, you need to recharge your Eagle. If you need to continue using your Eagle, you can also swap out the battery.
Charging your Duress Eagle.
1 - Connect your Dock
Plug in your charging dock to a power source. Use the USB cable and wall adapter provided in the box. A green light should turn on on your dock when it is ready to charge.
2 - Insert your Eagle
Place your Eagle in the dock with the screen facing away from the cable. A red light will start flashing above the outer camera to indicate that your Eagle is charging.
3 - Finish charging
Once your Eagle has finished charging, the red light will stop flashing. You'll also see the battery percentage on your screen change to 100%. It should take approx. 3.5 hours for your Eagle to fully charge from 0%.
Swapping our your Battery.
1 - Open battery compartment
Open the battery compartment by pulling down the lever at the bottom of your Eagle and simultaneously sliding the cover out away from the camera.
2 - Remove battery
Remove the battery by lifting the plastic handle.
3 - Replace battery
Insert the replacement battery. The + and - icons on the battery should line up with the connectors.
You can replace the battery and continue filming at the same time, as long as it is brief.
Charging your Eagle Battery.
1 - Connect your Dock
Plug in your charging dock to a power source. Use the USB cable and wall adapter provided in the box. A green light should turn on on your dock when it is ready to charge.
2 - Insert in your Battery
Place your battery in the dock with the lettering upside down and facing away from the cable. A red light will start flashing on the dock to indicate that the battery is being charged.
3 - Finish charging
Once your battery has finished charging, the red light will stop flashing. It should take approx. 3.5 hours for your battery to fully charge from 0%.
Preventing Damage to your Batteries.
Certain factors may lead to battery damage. They are listed below.
- Leaving your Eagle or batteries on the charger for a long period of time. Charging while at maximum capacity for extended periods of time can reduce your device's battery life.
- Long exposure to extreme temperatures (hot/freezing).
- Allowing your battery to reach 0% regularly can also affect its longevity.
