Learn how to charge your Duress Halo and use the USB charger in the article below.

1 - Connect Charger

Connect your USB charger to a power source.

2 - Connect your Halo

Connect your Halo to the charger. Your Halo will connect via the circular charging port on the inside of your ring.

Your Halo will shine a red light 🔴 while it's charging.

If the LED light doesn't light up, ensure the charger's cable is properly connected. Double-check that your ring is positioned correctly, ensuring good contact between your ring and the dock.

Your Halo will take anywhere from 10 to 30 minutes to fully charged, depending on your battery health.

3 - Finish charging

Your Halo will will shine a green light 🟢 to indicate that it has finished charging. You may now take the Halo off the charger.

Once fully charged, your Halo's battery will last up to 3 months, depending on your usage.

Prevent Damage to Your Battery

Certain factors may lead to battery damage. They are listed below.

  • Leaving your ring on the charger for a period of time greater than one week. Charging while at maximum capacity for extended periods of time can reduce battery life substantially.
  • Long exposure to extreme temperatures (hot/freezing).
  • Allowing your ring’s battery to reach 0% can affect its longevity.
