If your Halo is not connecting to your phone or if you're having trouble activating alerts, please read this article.

First, let's make sure your Halo is charged.

Connect your charger to a power source and then connect your Halo to the charger. A red light 🔴 should appear, indicating that your ring is charging.

Wait until the light changes to a green light 🟢, indicating that your ring is fully charged.

Check your software version.

Go to Settings > About Device or About Phone > System Update.

If a new software update is available, update your device’s operating system and try connecting or activating your Halo once the update is complete.

Check your privacy settings.

Go to Settings > Apps > Halo > Permissions and make sure Location is enabled.

Go to Settings > Bluetooth and make sure Bluetooth is enabled.

Please also make sure that 'Battery Optimization' settings are disabled for Duress Halo.

Check your app version.

Open up your Google Play Store and search for Halo. If you have an available update for Duress Halo, please install the new update and then try pairing or activating your ring again.

Unpair your devices, then pair them again.

To do so, please log out of your Duress Halo app and log in again. During the log in process you will be able to pair your Halo again.
