Retired devices are devices that are not in use anymore. They could be Falcons, Eagles or any other hardware device that have previously been in use but have reached the end of their lifecycle because the device has been:

  • Lost
  • Stolen
  • Broken
  • Cancelled

The reason they show up as "retired" and not simply deleted, is because the footage is attached to the device. Deleting the device will also delete the emergency footage that is viewable on your Pathfinder.

Retiring devices helps with device management, so you can keep track which devices are currently in use and which ones have been decommissioned. This feature is especially useful when managing a large amount of devices or when your team has a high turnover rate.

Where can I find my retired devices?

Your retired devices will stay in your team of Falcons or Eagles, but will be moved to the last page and is greyed out. When you hover your mouse over the device it will read "This device is retired".
