Set up Charger
In a well-ventilated area, place your charging pad on a flat surface.
Your Phoenix 1 comes with a USB-A to Micro-USB charging cable. Connect the Micro-USB side of the cable into your charging pad
Plug the charging cable into a power adapter (sold separately).
Plug the adapter into a power outlet. Once your charging pad is plugged in and ready to charge your Phoenix, a the charging pad will glow green.
Begin Charging your Phoenix
- Place your Phoenix Card on the charger so that it aligns with the outline on the charger and the Phoenix logo is facing upwards (as shown in the image above). This is the only position that allows the Phoenix to charge. You can leave your Phoenix Card in the silicon case for charging.
- When the Phoenix Card is aligned properly, the charging pad will pulse blue to indicate it is charging. Your Phoenix Card will also show a blue and red light to show it is charging.
Finish Charging
- When finished charging, the red light on your Phoenix Card will turn green to indicate it is fully charged. Your Phoenix Card will usually charge in less than 15 minutes and you can remove it from the charger anytime during the charging process.
- Once fully charged, the battery of your Phoenix Card will last between 1-3 months depending on your usage.
Preventing Damage to Your Battery
Certain factors may lead to battery damage:
- Leaving your Phoenix on the charger for a period of time greater than one week. Charging while at maximum capacity for extended periods of time can reduce battery life substantially.
- Long exposure to extreme temperatures (hot/freezing).
- Allowing your Phoenix's battery to reach 0% can affect its longevity.
