What is Camera Record?
Camera Record is a feature that lets you record footage on your Duress Eagle for up to 9 hours at a time. Whether to gather evidence or ensure your safety, Camera Record is only active when you turn it on. This means Duress will never record anything without your knowledge. Furthermore, it is not possible to remotely access your camera.
Starting Camera Record
To start recording with your Eagle, press the camera button for two seconds on the right side of your device. A green light will turn on next to your camera to indicate that you are recording.
Ending Camera Record
When you are finished with recording the footage, simply press and hold the camera button for two seconds again. Alternatively, you can also slide the button on your screen to end the recording. The light next to your camera will turn off to indicate that it has finished recording.
What happens to the footage after I finish recording?
When you finish recording, the footage will be stored locally on your Duress Eagle until you return the Eagle back to it's dock or charger and it has reconnected to Wifi.
Once the footage is uploaded, it is viewable by your Team Admin on the Duress Pathfinder for 30 days while it is stored on the cloud. During that time they have the option to download the footage and store it locally.
