The Phoenix 1 is a Bluetooth device that lets you control the Duress App remotely. You can check in, send a Team Alert or activate an emergency once the card is paired to your app.

Before you use Phoenix

• Pair your Phoenix with your Duress App
• You may need to charge your Phoenix before you can use it
• If you are using Duress on an iPhone, make sure to read through the requirements for iPhone users.

Check In with Phoenix 1

Press the button on your Phoenix Card once to check-in. You will receive a notification on your phone and your card will flash green to confirm you are checked in.

To check out, tap on the notification you received on your phone to open the app and tap 'Check Out'.

If you have enabled auto check-out, you will be automatically checked out as soon as you leave the location.

Team Alert with Phoenix 1

Press your card twice to send a Team Alert. Your Phoenix Card will flash yellow to confirm your alert has been sent. You will also get a notification on your phone confirming that your alert has been sent to your team.

To cancel the alert, tap the notification to open the app and tap Cancel.

Emergency with Phoenix 1

Press your card three times to activate an emergency. Your Phoenix Card will flash red to confirm that your alert has been sent out. You will also receive a notification on your phone confirming that you have successfully declared an emergency.

Once an emergency has been declared, your team will receive an alert and you will start streaming live video and audio to Duress Operators.

To cancel the emergency, open the Duress App and tap Cancel.
